This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Carl Steven Reyes who was born in Vigan,Ilocos Sur, Philippines on March 24, 1978 and passed away on June 29, 2007 at the age of 29. We will remember him forever. 

     CARL STEVEN was a respectful,loving,and caring son .He was also a good friend,brother and adviser to his brothers and sister and takes care of us everytime his dad is away for work.Carl was my first child and he was never a problem to us since birth.He excel in everything he does and he is very tactful in telling you about your mistakes.He was always there for you when you are down or when you are happy.
     Carl loves to travel and wants to discover things.He loves pets and he is also a nature lover.He likes to take pictures on anything he sees.He once tried scuba diving and he tried to convince his brothers and sister to try what he experienced.
      Carl was also dedicated to his job and was a workoholic.He never complains everytime he has overtime and comes home late.He always finish what he started disregarding what time he is done.During his wake,he submitted his promised report to his boss.That is how carl has devoted himself to his job.
      Carl was full of dreams and at the age of 29, he has reached the peak of his success.There are good jobs and opprtunities abroad for him but he opted to stay with his family and enjoys his time with them and his friends.He never misses special occasions to be with us and i miss his giving me flowers on my birthday and on Mothers Day.
      Much has been said about carl during his wake and cremation.We grieve for his loss and so does everyone who knows him for we all know how good and unselfish carl was.

ON THE NIGHT OF JUNE 29,2007 CARL WAS BRUTALLY MURDERED BY TWO UNIDENTIFIED ASSAILANTS WHO ARE STILL OUT THERE....FREE. WE SEEK JUSTICE FOR THE SENSELESS KILLING OF MY SON..MY BELOVED CARL



      GOODBYE MY SON.I KNOW YOU ARE HAPPY IN THE HANDS OF OUR LORD.

        MACTAN TOASTMASTERS CLUB, Club No.9442 District 75 posthumously presented  to CTM CARL STEVEN REYES                                                 

             FOR HIS EXEMPLARY DEDICATION AND LEADERSHIP
                 AS OFFICER OF MACTAN TOASTMASTERS                                      


        Given on September 8,2007 at Teatro Casino Filipino,Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.
POSTHUMOUS AWARD  

     On July27,2007, CARL STEVEN R REYES  VP-EXTERNAL was  
                     
Posthumously  awarded  FOR HIS DEVOTION TO DUTY AND DEDICATED 

PERFORMANCE IN THE SERVICE OF PCAPI-7.

     This award was given by the Officers and Past President of PCAPI-7 

and its was accepted by his parents STEVE & MALOU REYES with his 

sister CARMEN ABIGAIL.
 

***Carl was murdered on the night of June 29,2007 after attending a meeting of PCAPI-7. *****
Best Ten Environmental Management Officers" award recipient Mr. Reyes  

Awards ( April 24, 2003)


      In recognition of his continuous efforts to ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations and his ongoing commitment to environmental activities at a high level, Mr. Carl Steven R. Reyes received a distinction from the Environmental Management Department as one of the "Best Ten Environmental Management Officers." 

     Mr. Reyes has thus shown constructive environmental activities, especially with regard to energy and water saving and the reduction of waste materials. He also received high praise for the speed with which he submitted notifications and reports to the administrative authorities.
And Mr. Reyes has been active as a trainer in environmental education and training programs in the Philippines, notably in the area of pollution control. It should also be noted that NEC Technologies Philippines (NTEP) itself was awarded the Environmental Activity Prize of the Philippine Economic Zone Management Bureau. This distinction is a tribute paid not only to active individuals but also to the company as a whole.
